Bain & Company is seeking an Expert Manager, Software Engineering, to lead the development of AI‑driven software across industries. You will guide a diverse engineering team through the full lifecycle, from architecture to deployment, ensuring delivery aligns with business strategy.

You will design scalable systems, champion best practices, and mentor engineers while collaborating with product owners and clients to deliver high‑impact outcomes. Regional travel is required.

Formación

• 6+ years of end‑to‑end experience designing, building and maintaining production‑grade full‑stack applications.
• 4+ years building server‑side services and APIs with modern frameworks.
• 3+ years architecting micro‑service ecosystems and CI/CD automation.
• Experience with cloud‑native delivery and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Proficient with containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, and related tooling.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases; strong SQL skills.
• Fluency in English; business Spanish for Iberia.
• Strong software architecture and security awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Shape and scope client solutions with product owners and engineering squads.
• Translate capabilities into client‑ready product and transformation outcomes.
• Lead architecture, development, and documentation of AI applications at production scale.
• Establish software engineering best practices and ensure quality standards.
• Develop reusable libraries and accelerators for multiple client projects.
• Oversee full delivery lifecycle, tests, releases, and monitoring.
• Mentor engineers and coach client teams on modern tooling and DevOps practices.
• Champion AI‑native technology adoption and secure‑by‑design principles.
• Travel regionally as required by project needs.
