Jimdo is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to join a remote-first team. You will design scalable APIs and services, jump between domains, and drive end-to-end delivery from frontend to backend.

You will collaborate with product managers, staff engineers, and designers to ship high-quality features while leveraging AI-assisted development tools. You should bring 6+ years in software development, strong Kotlin/Java backend and React frontend skills, and experience with REST, microservices, and

Formación

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years in a senior/lead role.
• Strong full-stack proficiency: Kotlin/Java backend and React/JS frontend.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
• Deep experience with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Ability to quickly understand new domains and contribute with minimal onboarding.
• Proven system design and architectural leadership.
• Autonomous work across multiple codebases and domains.
• Pragmatic, impact-driven mindset with comfort in both simple and complex tasks.
• Excellent experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
