Hopper is seeking a senior full stack engineer to anchor HTS Assist, Hopper's agentic AI assistant for travel. You will own the realtime and voice layer end to end, building across React/TypeScript front ends, Scala and Python services, and cloud infrastructure.

The role covers telephony integrations, streaming speech-to-text and text-to-speech pipelines, and multi-tenant, configurable codebases for partners. Also responsible for safety, observability, and go-lives.

Formación

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with senior-level ownership.
• Strong frontend in React/TypeScript and backend in Scala or Python.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, or event-driven systems.
• Cloud infrastructure experience on GCP or AWS.

Responsabilidades

• Own the voice channel end-to-end, including telephony and CPaaS integrations.
• Build real-time and streaming pipelines (STT, TTS) with low latency.
• Develop across React/TypeScript front ends and Scala/Python services.
• Ensure observability, incident response, and SLA adherence.
