Job summary

OpenNebula Systems is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Developer to work on the OpenNebula web interface and its edge computing initiative. You will lead frontend development with opportunities to contribute to backend components, thrive in an autonomous, cross-functional team, and impact a widely used open-source cloud platform.

The ideal candidate has strong React/Angular/Vue experience, Node.js, Linux proficiency, Git, and familiarity with automated testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
• 3 years of professional software development experience in real production environments.
• Experience developing web applications across front-end and back-end components.
• Experience with modern development workflows, version control, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features across the OpenNebula web interface with frontend focus.
• Own feature implementation from development through testing, docs, and delivery.
• Write well-tested, maintainable code with strong test coverage.
• Troubleshoot frontend/backend issues in Linux-based environments.
• Produce clear technical documentation and explain developments to the team.
• Propose improvements to product, codebase, and development practices.
• Collaborate with other developers across the stack as priorities evolve.
