Sateliot, a Barcelona-based satellite company, is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer in Madrid. You will own end-to-end features across Laravel (PHP) and Python, surface data for dashboards, and collaborate with Core Network and IT Platform. The role demands hands-on production work, autonomy in a high-trust environment, and mentoring teammates.

You’ll design REST APIs, implement tests, review code, and deploy to production. Hybrid work model with on-site presence.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional full stack engineering experience delivering production software.
• Strong PHP and Laravel expertise with production systems.
• Experience with React and Angular front-ends and Python back-end services.
• REST APIs and relational databases (SQLite/PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and Linux (Ubuntu).
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants (Codex, Claude Code, Cursor).
• Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Responsabilidades

• Design and deliver full-stack features end to end from technical design through Laravel/PHP and Python APIs to React/Angular interfaces.
• Set the quality bar for the team: drive unit testing and code reviews, maintainability standards, and debt management.
• Own technical design and architecture decisions for reliable tools and dashboards, documenting trade-offs.
• Mentor less experienced engineers through pairing, code review, and design discussions.
• Operate what you build in production, coordinating deployments with IT Platform.

About the team & this role

The Full Stack team builds the web applications and APIs that turn Sateliot’s network data into tools our internal teams rely on every day, from device status and tracking to session and satellite pass management.

Senior Full Stack Engineer

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer , you’ll own features from design to production across a Laravel (PHP) and Python codebase, set the bar for quality in a small team, and partner closely with 4G/5G Core Network and IT Platform to surface their data and controls.

We’re looking for someone who has already shipped and operated production systems, raises the level of the people around them, and thrives with autonomy in a high-trust environment.

What you’ll do

• Design and deliver full-stack features end to end , from technical design through Laravel/PHP and Python APIs to React and Angular web interfaces, with minimal supervision.
• Set the quality bar for the team: drive unit testing and code quality with SonarQube , meaningful code reviews, maintainability standards, and pragmatic technical-debt management.
• Own technical design and architecture decisions for reliable tools and dashboards that integrate data from across the company (Core Network, Platform), documenting key trade-offs and helping evolve the platform.
• Mentor less experienced engineers through pairing, code review, and design discussions, raising the team’s level through your work and experience.
• Operate what you build in production , working with IT Platform on deployments.

What you bring

• 5+ years of professional full stack engineering experience delivering production software.
• Extensive senior-level experience building, shipping, and operating production web applications, with deep command of PHP and Laravel.
• Strong full-stack range: REST API design, relational databases (SQLite/PostgreSQL/MySQL), queue-based background processing, Python 3 (Flask/Django) , and modern front-end development with React and Angular.
• A track record of owning features from design through deployment and operation, with hands-on experience in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, and Linux (Ubuntu).
• Substantial hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor throughout your daily development workflow to implement, debug, test, and review code faster while maintaining quality.
• Bonus if you have Experience with satellite, telecom, or IoT data. Observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Additional requirements

Based in Barcelona, with on-site presence under our hybrid model (3 days on-site / 2 remote).
