Capitole is hiring a Full Stack Developer to join a global technology team in Barcelona. You will design, build and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js, React and AWS, collaborating across engineering teams in an Agile setting.

You will contribute to performance, security, and cost optimization while delivering value across data and insights initiatives for diverse business domains. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong backend development with Node.js.
• Strong frontend experience with React.
• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Fluent English and Spanish are mandatory.

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join a global technology team and contribute to building scalable, secure and high-performing digital solutions that deliver real business value. In this role, you will design, develop and maintain modern web applications using Node.js, React and AWS, collaborating with multiple engineering teams across shared codebases and digital platforms. You will work on solutions focused on performance, scalability, security, maintainability and cost optimisation in a collaborative international Agile environment. What you'll do

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Build modern, responsive frontend applications using React.
• Design, develop and integrate REST APIs.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams working on shared codebases.
• Deploy and maintain applications on AWS.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and software quality best practices.
• Participate in architecture discussions and continuously improve application performance, scalability and maintainability.
• Work throughout the entire software development lifecycle in an Agile environment.

Must Have

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong experience developing backend applications with Node.js.
• Strong frontend experience with React.
• Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS.
• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing (unit, integration and UI testing).
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Fluent English and Spanish are mandatory.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Next.js.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of GraphQL.
• Experience integrating AI services or LLM APIs.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Experience working in large-scale international engineering organisations.
• Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud and Java applications.
• Experience integrating LLM models, Agentic AI or data pipelines into web applications.
• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools such as Cursor or Claude.
