IFF is a global leader in flavors, fragrances, and health sciences. This role focuses on applying toxicology expertise and digital tools to shape safe, sustainable flavor solutions.

The position offers a hybrid structure based in either Hilversum, Netherlands or Barcelona, Spain, with collaboration across R&D, regulatory, and product stewardship teams. The candidate will translate complex toxicology data into clear guidance, support ingredient safety assessments, and advance testing strategies

Formación

• Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Risk Assessment, or related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience in toxicology, risk assessment, or product safety.
• Strong ability to communicate complex findings to scientific and non-scientific audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Provide toxicology and risk assessment expertise for flavor ingredients and products used across global Taste markets.
• Partner with R&D to evaluate safety profiles of new flavor ingredients and technologies.
• Conduct toxicological risk assessments to support ingredient development and regulatory needs.
• Design testing strategies for ingredient approvals and substantiation across regions.
• Translate complex toxicology data into actionable recommendations for stakeholders and customers.
• Support customer inquiries with scientific safety assessments for ingredients in food and beverages.
• Leverage digital platforms and data tools to improve toxicology workflows and decision-making.
• Represent IFF in industry associations and external expert networks.
• Monitor scientific and regulatory developments to ensure best practices in safety globally.
