UNDP Careers in Madrid seeks a senior financial risk management expert to lead policies, frameworks and tools for robust financial control across UNDP offices. You will drive IPSAS-aligned reporting, coordinate audits, and advance risk management with ERP-enabled analytics.

The role requires advanced finance qualifications, strong IFRS/IPSAS knowledge, and the ability to work across partners and time zones.

Formación

• Advanced degree in Finance or Accounting required or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree with two years of qualifying experience acceptable in lieu of an advanced degree.
• Professional accounting qualifications advantageous for this role.

Responsabilidades

• Lead financial risk management policies, frameworks and tools across UNDP units.
• Oversee annual representation exercise and SICFR processes with strong technical guidance.
• Ensure IPSAS-compliant financial reporting and robust corporate analysis.
• Support audit engagements with internal and external bodies including UNBOA.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the finance function.
• Perform other duties as needed to ensure efficient financial management.
