5+ years at an accounting firm in audit, assurance, or financial consulting.
Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS.

Company Overview:

We are a new and innovative CTV OS challenging the status quo by working with a market-leading OEM to provide content discovery for streaming platforms, as well as integrating FAST channels alongside traditional broadcast TV channels. We are gearing up for rapid expansion across European markets.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Finance Controller to join our dynamic finance team. This role will be instrumental in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations, ensuring compliance with global accounting standards, and supporting our company’s continued growth. This role is perfect for a professional who thrives in analyzing complex financial information, streamlining processes, and contributing to strategic decision-making in a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Audit Management: Serve as the primary liaison for external audits
Compliance & Standards: Ensure all financial operations comply with local and international regulations (e.g., GAAP/IFRS).
Month-End Close: Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring all entries and reconciliations are completed accurately.
Tax & Regulatory Filings: Coordinate the preparation and submission of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for streamlining and automating financial processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, HR, and business development, to ensure financial alignment and support strategic projects.
Global Financial Operations: Support the financial aspects of international operations, including currency management, compliance, and reporting.

Qualifications:

Experience: 5+ years at an accounting firm in audit, assurance, or financial consulting.
Accounting Expertise: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards (GAAP/IFRS), and practices.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Odoo, SAP, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and a track record of producing accurate, high-quality work.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present financial information to stakeholders.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
Growth Mindset: A proactive attitude towards process improvement and adapting to the evolving needs of a growing business.
