Gloria Jeans, based in Dubai, is seeking senior designers to lead kidswear collections across Denim, Knitwear, Activewear, and Outerwear & Sweaters for Women or Men. You will translate trends into wearable, commercially viable collections and work with buying, production, and suppliers to ensure feasibility from concept to production.

The role requires a fashion design degree, 3–8 years in mass market or fast fashion, and proficiency in AI tools, Illustrator and Photoshop.

Formación

• Degree in Fashion Design is required.
• 3–8 years experience in mass market, fast fashion or high street brand.
• Excellent visual communication and presentation skills.
• Commercial mindset—ability to design for volume and price point.
• Confident, advanced user of AI tools, Illustrator, Photoshop.
• Print and pattern design skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Trend research, analysis of competitor landscape and customer behavior.
• Develop seasonal design directions aligned with brand strategy (moodboards, color palettes, key fits, fabrics, trims).
• Sourcing fabric, trim, and product samples worldwide—trade shows, fabric fairs, supplier visits, shopping trips.
• Design prints, graphics and surface patterns for seasonal collections.
• Create detailed tech packs (sketches, artworks, hangtags) and upload all information into PLM system.
• Fit and review samples, provide accurate correction comments.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with buying, production and management.
• Mentor and guide junior design team members.

We are looking for senior designers (across categories) who will take ownership of key product categories within the kidswear collections, including Denim, Knitwear, Activewear, and Outerwear & Sweaters for Women or Men.

This role combines strong creative sensibility with a deep understanding of commercial fashion and market trends. The person in this role will be responsible for translating trends and concepts into compelling, wearable collections that resonate with customers while meeting business objectives.

Working from concept through to final product, the designer will collaborate closely with buying, visual merchandising, production teams, and suppliers to ensure that each collection is both creatively strong and operationally feasible.

The position is suited for someone who is not only creatively driven but also highly collaborative and pragmatic, able to balance design vision with timelines, cost considerations, and product performance in the market.

While the role remains deeply hands‑on in the design process, its primary responsibility is to ensure that collections are commercially relevant, trend‑aligned, and delivered efficiently from concept to production.
