Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Exploration Geophysicist to join their exploration team in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will lead seismic interpretation projects, interpret data to identify prospects, and guide exploration strategies across challenging basins.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree or PhD in Geophysics or related Earth Science, 10+ years in oil and gas, and strong skills with Petrel, OpendTect, and HampsonRussell.

Responsabilidades

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Exploration Geophysicist to join their dedicated exploration team in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. This role is critical for the interpretation of geophysical data to identify and evaluate potential hydrocarbon prospects within the Oil & Gas industry. You will be responsible for leading complex seismic interpretation projects, integrating data from various sources, and providing geological insights to guide exploration strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of seismic data processing and interpretation techniques, contributing significantly to the company's resource discovery efforts.

Key Responsibilities
