Amazon in Madrid or Berlin is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to lead the build and scale of personalised recommendations across EU marketplaces. You will work at the intersection of BI, data engineering, and data science to harness real-time signals and large EU retail data to surface the right products at the right moment.

You will build models with Python and Spark, deploy serverless tooling with AWS Lambda and CDK, and create marketing tooling and dashboards to measure

Formación

• Experience extracting, transforming and cleaning multi-terabyte datasets.
• Experience with experiments design and statistical analysis.
• Experience with AWS technologies.
• Experience in scripting for automation (Python) and advanced SQL.
• Experience with data science, ML, and data mining concepts.
• Experience translating data insights to business needs with stakeholders.
• Experience with SQL and data visualization tools.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and delivery of personalised EU-wide recommendation strategies.
• Develop data models using Python and Spark for EU personalization.
• Build internal tooling and services for marketing teams (Python, AWS Lambda, React).
• Own baseline reporting and dashboards for campaigns.
• Perform deep analytics to drive strategic recommendations.
• Write advanced SQL and analyze large datasets across data ecosystem.
• Collaborate with EU Analytics teams across data and engineering.
