Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking an Environmental Qualification Engineer in Getafe to support the full system development life-cycle across multiple platforms. You will define qualification requirements, review test results and manage interfaces between functions and systems.

The role emphasizes working across program phases, ensuring safety and airworthiness compliance, and supporting production, flight testing and delivery with a focus on integrity and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in Engineering.
• Experience in System Development: 5+ years.
• Experience in Environmental Qualification activities: 2+ years.
• Flexible to adapt to different tasks and environments.
• English proficiency required (professional level).
• Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to integrity.

Responsibilities

• Support the entire system development life-cycle across multiple platforms.
• Define Environmental Qualification requirements and review test results.
• Define interfaces between functions or systems and ensure consistent implementation.
• Provide input to checkpoints and reviews with maturity aligned to program gates.
• Support Environmental Qualification campaigns.
• Verify that system requirements are implemented correctly.
• Ensure the product complies with safety and airworthiness standards.
• Support production, flight testing and delivery.
