Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU seeks an Environmental and Crew Support Systems Control Engineer to lead the development of ECS and control systems across military platforms. You will work on requirements analysis, architecture definition, development, integration, and certification, engaging with suppliers and cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities cover testing, integration, flight support, and in‑service issue resolution, while maintaining regulatory safety standards and system performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aeronautical, Industrial, Telecommunications or Computer Engineering.
• Spanish and English: Negotiation level.
• Flexibility to adapt to different tasks and environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a team with engineers, technicians and stakeholders.
• Experience in control systems with hardware and software integration and aerospace protocols (ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, CAN, AFDX).
• Proven experience in integrating electronic control units and managing software configurations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test control systems for environmental and crew systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Support aircraft deliveries and resolve in‑service issues with technical expertise.
• Contribute to research and innovation for adapting air systems to new aircraft concepts.
• Manage technical interfaces, stakeholders, and suppliers.
• Oversee ECS architecture, hardware/software interfaces, and wiring diagrams.
