Arup is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant in Madrid to lead environmental permitting and due diligence projects across Spain and Europe. You will coordinate environmental specialists and contribute to project strategy while providing inputs to design teams.

We value a decade of Spanish regulatory experience, fluency in English and Spanish, and the ability to develop new business opportunities within an international practice. The role supports a hybrid working model.

Formación

• At least 10 years of experience in Spanish environmental planning and permitting across public and private sectors.
• Experience developing and processing Environmental Integrated Authorization, SEA and EIA processes.
• Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Forest Engineering, Ecology or equivalent qualification.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the processing of environmental permitting and due diligence projects in Spain.
• Prepare documentation for environmental planning and permitting (SEA, EIA, IEA).
• Contribute to the definition of environmental project strategy.
• Provide environmental inputs to design projects.
• Support business development to secure a strong pipeline of work in Spain and Europe.
