Job summary

The role focuses on risk assessment, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement of safety culture and performance. You will drive audits, investigations and training, while coordinating with regulators and internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to global and local HSE requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading HSE programs across energy, manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of national and international HSE regulations and standards.
• Proven track record of driving measurable safety performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain HSE systems and policies aligned with Hitachi Energy standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits and inspections across sites.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses with preventive actions.
• Ensure effective HSE training and promote a zero-harm safety culture.
• Monitor HSE performance metrics and report trends to leadership.
• Coordinate emergency response planning and drills across sites.
• Engage with regulators and external stakeholders on HSE matters.
