Amazon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to define and drive electrical infrastructure standards for Europe, including EV charging networks and smart grid deployments across multiple sites. You will develop HV/LV standard designs and coordinate with manufacturers and internal teams to ensure resilient, scalable solutions.

This role involves end-to-end deployment, cost budgeting, and procurement processes, with collaboration across Operations, Reliability & Maintenance, Health and Safety,

Formación

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Chartered Electrical Engineer (CEng) or equivalent.
• Experience with HV/LV distribution systems up to 24kV and related standards.
• Experience in technical program/product management in industrial EV charging solutions.
• Proficiency in one or more European languages beyond English.

Responsabilidades

• Own and develop electrical equipment standards for core electrical infrastructure.
• Perform design validation and review during installation and commissioning.
• Act as SME for LV and HV electrical systems up to 24kV.
• Define technical requirements for EV charging network infrastructure and smart grid deployments.
• Drive the technology roadmap for electrical infrastructure, EV chargers, substations, and IoT tech.
• Develop business cases and present recommendations to leadership for investment decisions.
• Coordinate with programme managers to ensure quality and standards compliance across large-scale installations.
• Drive process improvement across commissioning, audit, value engineering, and cost control activities.
