Catalyst Labs is seeking a seasoned Tax Manager in Madrid to lead direct tax services for a diverse client portfolio. You will advise on tax-efficient strategies, guide complex transactions, and support international and local clients while mentoring junior staff.

The role emphasizes tax planning, compliance oversight, and collaboration across teams to improve processes in a dynamic environment. Fluent English and Maltese are essential, with ACCA qualification and CSP exposure preferred.

Formación

• ACCA qualified, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in a Corporate Service Provider (CSP) or similar environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Maltese accounting standards and tax legislation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Maltese; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Lead direct tax planning initiatives and advise on strategies to optimize client tax liabilities.
• Oversee preparation and filing of corporate tax returns and manage tax refund applications.
• Provide advisory support on corporate restructurings, financings, M&A, and cross-border investments.
• Mentor junior professionals and review technical work.
• Coordinate with tax authorities during audits and examinations.
