SWISSto12 in Madrid seeks a Digital RF Systems Engineer to lead end-to-end digital and RF architectures for space telecom applications. You will work on DSP, FPGA/SoC platforms, SDR, and FPGA design, collaborating with hardware, firmware and software teams across sites in Europe. Fluency in English essential; masters in EE/telecom preferred.

Role emphasizes system-level verification, model-based design in MATLAB/Simulink, Python/C++, and hands-on testing of high-frequency systems.

Formación

• Master’s degree in electrical, systems or telecommunications engineering.
• 8+ years in digital communications and RF systems, preferably Space.
• Experience with SDR, digital payloads or communication systems.
• Qualification of SDR for Space applications.
• RF skills: link budget, noise figure, RF simulations and testing.
• FPGA/SoC architectures, high-speed interfaces, DSP and firmware integration.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, C/C++, Agilent ADS, SystemVue.
• Excellent communication and English fluency.

Responsabilidades

• Define end-to-end system architectures for digital and RF systems.
• Translate customer needs into system requirements and specs.
• Lead requirements management, interfaces, and verification planning.
• Perform architecture trade studies and technology assessments.
• Develop CONOPs, interface control documents and test plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional hardware, firmware, software and test teams.
• Support system-level test activities and integration.
