The Opportunity
As a Senior DevOps Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, evolving, and operating enterprise-grade platform services focused on reliability, automation, security, and developer experience.
You will work within a highly collaborative international environment, partnering with Product, Software Engineering, Architecture, Data, and Security teams to build scalable foundations that enable innovation across the business.
This is a strategic hands–on role where you'll have the opportunity to drive best practices, mentor colleagues, and contribute to the long–term cloud and platform strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud & Platform Engineering
- Design and operate large-scale Kubernetes platforms across Azure and Google Cloud.
- Build scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure supporting global applications.
- Lead infrastructure standardization through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Improve platform reliability, performance, and scalability.
Automation & Developer Enablement
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications.
- Promote GitOps methodologies and deployment automation.
- Create self-service capabilities that empower engineering teams and accelerate delivery.
- Drive platform improvements that enhance developer productivity and reduce operational complexity.
Security & Observability
- Implement security best practices across cloud and container environments.
- Integrate compliance and governance requirements into platform engineering processes.
- Enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability capabilities using modern tooling.
- Support incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis initiatives.
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define platform roadmaps and priorities.
- Influence architectural decisions and engineering standards across multiple teams.
- Champion DevOps culture, automation, and continuous improvement practices.
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
- 5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or SRE roles.
- Strong expertise with Kubernetes and container technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proven background implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Experience supporting distributed systems and modern cloud-native architectures.
- Knowledge of security, governance, and compliance within cloud environments.
- Experience working within Agile development teams.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with international teams.
- Fluent English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with service mesh technologies.
- Knowledge of multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.
- Familiarity with FinOps and cloud cost optimization initiatives.
- Experience implementing observability solutions such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, or similar tools.
- Exposure to international, multicultural technology organizations.
