Arsys is expanding its Data Platform team in Spain and seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the cloud Big Data platform's operations and ensure its reliability across internal data services. You will work in hybrid offices (Seville, Madrid, Barcelona, etc.), collaborate with data engineers in 2‑week sprints, implement IaC with Terraform and ArgoCD, and operate Kubernetes workloads.
The role advances toward product ownership with a strong focus on automation, monitoring, and cross‑functional
Formación
- 5+ years in Operations, System Admin, or infra DevOps roles.
- Strong Linux systems, server recovery expertise.
- Experience with ArgoCD and Terraform.
- Kubernetes/containerization knowledge.
- Familiarity with Trino, Hive, Airflow, OpenShift, Prometheus, Grafana.
- Good English, autonomous and collaborative.
Responsabilidades
- Own platform operations and maintain cloud Big Data platform.
- Provide L2/L3 support for data engineering teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across 11 divisions.
- Participate in 2-week sprints, align with team goals.
- Develop operational processes and platform optimization setups.
- Advance system responsibilities toward product ownership.
