B. Braun Melsungen AG in Barcelona seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to advance core development. You will migrate CI/CD workflows, implement IaC, and strengthen security and observability in a regulated healthcare environment.

The role requires Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub/Jira/Polarion, and scripting skills. Hybrid work in Barcelona with collaboration across international teams.

Formación

• Experience with containerization and cloud migrations across on-premise to cloud-native architectures.
• Strong knowledge of IaC using Terraform for multi-tenant environments and isolation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation.

• Observability: Migrate logs to OpenTelemetry and integrate with centralized SIEM/Azure Monitor.

Core Development & Responsibilities

• CI/CD Orchestration: Migrate and evolve workflows from Jenkins/Bitbucket to GitHub Actions standards.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate Azure provisioning using Terraform, replacing manual processes with declarative, scalable models.
• DevSecOps & Compliance: Implement automated security gates (Snyk, SonarQube, Fossa)
• Observability: Execute monitoring strategies by migrating from Log4net to OpenTelemetry, integrating logs into centralized SIEM/Azure Monitor.

Technical Requirements (Mandatory)

• Containerization: Deep proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) for on‑premise to cloud‑native migrations.
• Modern Toolstack: Experience transitioning Atlassian stacks to GitHub, Jira, and Polarion with full lifecycle traceability.
• Infrastructure as Code: Solid knowledge of Terraform for multi‑tenant and hospitalspecific environment isolation.
• LegacySupport: Ability to manage Windows Server and SOAP/WCF services during encapsulation phases.
• Scripting: Strong skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for task automation.
• Technical Competencies (Recommended / Good to Have)
• Security Governance: Knowledge of Azure AD (Entra ID) and audit procedures under the NIST framework.
• Disaster Recovery: Configuration of backup strategies in Azure Recovery Services Vaults (RTO/RPO targets).
• Advanced Observability: Proficiency in KQL (Kusto Query Language) and Log Analytics for deep troubleshooting.
• GitOps: Familiarity with ArgoCD or Flux for automated Kubernetes deployments.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify and mitigate Single Points of Failure (SPOF) across infrastructure.
• Adaptability: Comfortable in highly regulated environments where patient safety is the primary priority.
• Team Player: Proactive communication and readiness to support the team’s technical growth. Language: Fluent in Spanish; English is essential for international collaboration and regulatory documentation.
