Job summary

Blacksmith Agency seeks a Senior Product Designer, Design Systems to own how client design systems are built. You will extract patterns from a brand and reference sites into a working system of tokens, variables, modes, and core components for a repeatable build pipeline.

This is a senior, systems-first role. You will stand up new systems quickly and accurately across several client brands, not one-off pages or maintenance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years designing for the web, with real design system work in your portfolio.
• Fluency in Figma variables, component properties, auto layout, and variants.
• A portfolio where the work looks different from client to client but the underlying rigor remains the same.
• Strong English and overlap with US business hours.

Responsibilities

• Build token architecture in Figma using variables, modes, and semantic naming our pipeline can read predictably.
