Descripción de la vacante

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Web Design Systems Designer to own how client design systems are built. You take a brand and reference sites, then extract the pattern into tokens, variables, modes, and core components so a build pipeline can run with minimal questions.

You’ll work across several client brands with the same rigor, shipping robust component libraries and documenting the system for developers and automated pipelines.

Formación

• 4+ years designing for the web with real design system work in your portfolio.
• Fluency in Figma variables, component properties, auto layout, and variants.
• A portfolio where work looks different across clients but with the same underlying rigor.
• Strong English and overlap with US business hours.

Responsabilidades

• Build token architecture in Figma using variables, modes, and semantic naming our pipeline can read predictably.
• Ship core component libraries that hold up across an entire site, not just a homepage.
• Document the system so a developer or an automated pipeline can execute it without questions.
• Work across several client brands at once, each looking distinctly different, with the same structural rigor.
