Senior Design Systems Architect - Remote Latin America

Blacksmith Agency LLC; Asturias; Remote; EUR 90.000 - 130.000; Vollzeit

Zusammenfassung

Blacksmith Agency, a US-focused design firm, seeks a senior Product Design Systems Designer to own how client design systems are built. You will extract patterns from brands and reference sites into a working system of tokens, variables, modes, and components enabling a build pipeline to operate autonomously.

This is a senior, systems-first role—rapidly standing up new systems across multiple client brands with rigorous structure and precision.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years designing for the web, with real design system work in your portfolio.
• Fluency in Figma variables, component properties, auto layout, and variants.
• A portfolio where the work looks different from client to client but the rigor underneath is the same.
• Strong English and overlap with US business hours.

Aufgaben

• Build token architecture in Figma using variables, modes, and semantic naming our pipeline can read predictably.
• Ship core component libraries that hold up across an entire site, not just a homepage.
• Document the system so a developer or an automated pipeline can execute it without questions.
• Work across several client brands at once, each looking distinctly different, with the same structural rigor.
