Cundall in Madrid is seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager to join our Data Centre team. You will lead and/or support delivery of complex, high-profile projects, coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and guiding design reviews from concept to completion.

The role requires a degree in engineering, substantial experience in data centres or mission-critical environments, strong MEP coordination, and the ability to manage clients, stakeholders, and risk while developing junior team

Formación

• Degree-qualified in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Significant experience delivering complex, multidisciplinary construction projects, ideally within data centres, mission-critical, or similarly technical environments.
• Strong understanding of MEP-led coordination and organisational skills.
• Confident communication and stakeholder management.
• Understanding of project delivery, design processes, and risk management.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• (Associate level) Additional experience in leadership, client development, and mentoring.

Responsabilidades

• Leading or supporting the design management of large-scale data centre projects.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and managing project deliverables.
• Driving project meetings, workshops, and design reviews.
• Working closely with clients to manage expectations and ensure successful outcomes.
• Supporting commercial, programme, and risk management activities.
• Contributing to consistency and improvement in design management processes.
• Supporting team development, mentoring, and client engagement.
