Intellias is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join a delivery team on a large-scale enterprise data platform migration for a financial services client. You will write production code weekly, own architectural decisions on your workstream, and mentor a paired mid-level engineer.

The role centers on Databricks, lakehouse architecture, and data quality with Azure DevOps, Terraform and Unity Catalog. Fluent English is required as you work remotely from Spain.

Formación

• 6+ years of data engineering experience with at least 3+ years on Databricks in production.
• Deep hands-on experience with lakehouse architectures and Delta Lake.
• Strong Python, PySpark and SQL skills; diagnose performance issues at scale.
• Experience with streaming ingestion, CDC patterns, and data quality controls.
• CI/CD on data platforms using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions; IaC with Terraform.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver end-to-end data domain pipelines on Azure Databricks.
• Design Bronze/Silver/Gold pipelines with Lakeflow and Delta Lake.
• Register data products in Unity Catalog with tagging and access policies.
• Implement data quality gates and collaborate with domain stewards.
• Package and deploy solutions via Databricks Asset Bundles and CI/CD.
• Write automated tests and documentation; mentor teammates.
