Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Spain is seeking a skilled Database Administrator (L3 Support) to join a dynamic IT team in Madrid. You will provide expert database administration, ensure high availability, perform installations, upgrades and migrations, and collaborate with infrastructure, security and service management teams.

The role offers a permanent contract, hybrid work: office 3 days per week in Madrid, with competitive salary and flexible compensation plan, plus learning opportunities

Formación

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB and MariaDB.
• Experience with database installation, configuration, monitoring, backup and recovery.
• Knowledge of performance tuning, capacity management and database optimization.
• Experience supporting high availability, replication and disaster recovery solutions.
• Familiarity with security, compliance and database governance best practices.
• Experience working within ITIL-based support environments.
• Professional level of English.

Responsabilidades

• Provide L3 support and administration for enterprise database environments.
• Manage Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB and MariaDB platforms, ensuring availability and performance.
• Perform database installations, configurations, upgrades and migrations.
• Execute backup, recovery, patching and maintenance activities.
• Monitor database health, capacity and performance, implementing optimization initiatives.
• Troubleshoot complex database incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Support high availability, disaster recovery and security compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, security and service management teams following ITIL processes.
