Job summary

PepsiCo is expanding its Global Digital Commerce Team to power International Growth. We seek seasoned data engineers to build a Global Data Product using Data Warehouse and Cloud techniques, enabling scalable data pipelines for cross-regional initiatives.

The role focuses on end-to-end data pipeline development, architecture collaboration, and delivering high-quality data tools within a hybrid work model at PepsiCo’s international scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and building data systems at scale.
• Proficient in Python, PySpark, SQL; experience with Airflow, DBT, and Hadoop ecosystem (Hive/Impala).
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with onshore/offshore teams.
• Experience in Retail, E-commerce or Financial Services is preferred.
• Degree in computer engineering or related analytics field from a premier/Tier1 institute.
• Analytical, proactive, and excellent communication skills.
• Hands-on with large data sets using PySpark/SQL/Hive/Impala.

Responsibilities

• Own data pipeline development end-to-end from modeling to monitoring.
• Contribute to engineering best practices within PepsiCo's global team.
• Collaborate with product team leveraging core platforms.
• Participate in architecture discussions and decisions.
• Deliver high-quality data pipelines and tooling with testing and QA collaboration.
• Evaluate and integrate third-party tools to improve data workflow.
• Support pipelines with exception handling and production debugging.
• Work with client IT teams to resolve data quality issues.
