Job summary

ING Hubs Spain is seeking a Senior Data Scientist – Cyber Risk Analytics to join the Security Analytics team. You will design, develop and operationalise AI-driven solutions to assess and monitor third‑party cyber risk, with an initial focus on continuous risk models and dynamic vendor scoring.

You will own the model lifecycle end‑to‑end, collaborate with TPCRM specialists and data engineers, and ensure robust, explainable models aligned with governance and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline.
• 7+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics or ML.
• Familiar with generative AI, LLMs and agentic AI architectures.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with data science libraries.
• Experience building, validating and deploying models lifecycle.
• Solid statistics, forecasting, feature engineering and uncertainty handling.
• Ability to work with complex datasets and translate problems into analytical approaches.
• Experience with model deployment, monitoring, reproducibility and MLOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain AI models to quantify and monitor third‑party cyber risk.
• Build dynamic vendor risk scoring by integrating multiple data sources.
• Apply predictive analytics, anomaly detection and advanced techniques for risk insight.
• Explore agentic AI solutions using LLMs and automated reasoning workflows.
• Own end‑to‑end model lifecycle from data prep to recalibration.
• Collaborate with TPCRM specialists and data engineers to translate risk into scalable solutions.
• Ensure models are robust, explainable and governance compliant.
• Present findings and risk insights to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Identify new data science use cases to enhance third‑party cyber risk management.
