Harnham is seeking a Senior Product Data Scientist to drive the center of product strategy, experimentation and causal inference, influencing executive decisions with data-driven insights.

You will lead experimentation evolution, uncover non-obvious insights from complex datasets, and mentor other data scientists while collaborating with product, eng, design, finance, marketing and execs.

Formación

• 6+ years of experience in product data science, experimentation, or applied analytics.
• Deep expertise in causal inference and advanced experimentation methods.
• Strong Python or R, expert SQL, and experience with modern data warehouses.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive data-driven change.
• SaaS and product-focused experience strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Own the experimentation roadmap across the product and drive measurement improvements.
• Design and analyze advanced A/B tests, multivariate and Bayesian experiments.
• Apply causal inference techniques (DiD, synthetic controls, PSM, IVs) when RCTs aren’t possible.
• Build KPI and measurement frameworks connecting product metrics to business outcomes.
• Translate complex statistical findings into clear, actionable narratives for senior leadership.
• Partner with Data Engineering to scale experimentation tooling and self-serve analytics.

My client is hiring a Senior Product Data Scientist to play a senior, highly strategic role within their product data organization. This is a rare opportunity to sit at the center of product strategy, experimentation, and causal inference, with real influence on how data drives decision‑making at the executive level.

In this role, you’ll lead the evolution of experimentation and measurement across the product, uncover non‑obvious insights from complex datasets, and help leadership clearly understand true impact—not just correlation.

You’ll act as a trusted thought partner to Product, Engineering, Design, Finance, Marketing, and exec leadership while mentoring and leveling up other data scientists.

Key focus areas include:

• Owning and driving the experimentation roadmap across the product
• Designing and analyzing advanced A/B tests, multivariate and Bayesian experiments
• Applying causal inference techniques (DiD, synthetic controls, PSM, IVs) when RCTs aren’t possible
