Morningstar Europe Services, S.L. is seeking a Senior Data Research Analyst to manage data quality initiatives, regulatory reporting (Solvency II, Basel III), and fund categorisation across EMEA, LATAM, and Korea.

You will collaborate with Pricing, Distribution, Category and global teams, applying Lean Six Sigma and strong SQL/Python skills to ensure timely, accurate investment data and scalable processes. The role offers a hybrid work model with in-office collaboration weekly and a competitive

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years in data analytics, data processing or financial industry
• Lean Six Sigma or Agile experience
• Fluent in English
• Strong SQL and Python skills

Responsabilidades

• Escalation point for internal and external customer queries.
• Monitor daily workload to identify market movements and anticipate potential large workloads and language needs.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma methodology to identify process improvements.
• Collaborate with data content researchers and content specialists to share feedback.
• Triage complex issues and create requirements for product managers to implement tools.
• Collect and process managed investment data using Morningstar systems and ensure timelines, completeness, and accuracy.
• Identify automation opportunities and support implementation.
• Coordinate training to enable efficient go-to-work.
• Provide coaching to junior team members as appropriate.
• Act as an expert on investment data points and respond to questions and escalations.
