Job summary

UST España & Latam is seeking a hands-on Software/Data Engineer to design, modernize and support a robust Data Platform. You will work with Snowflake, SQL, Python, dbt, Azure Data Factory, Generative AI and Power BI to build scalable data models and pipelines.

You will collaborate with engineers, analysts and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions and AI-enabled insights. Join a multinational team delivering large-scale technology services, with opportunities to influence data

Qualifications

• Experience designing Snowflake data models, transformations, views and pipelines.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for data engineering and automation.
• Hands-on dbt modeling with testing, documentation and deployment.
• Experience building ETL/ELT workflows and data integration solutions.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Power BI dashboards and semantic models.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools and AI-enabled solutions.
• Knowledge of dimensional modelling and Kimball methodology.
• Experience with data governance, metadata and data lineage concepts.
• Ability to work autonomously on well-defined requirements and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Snowflake data models, transformations, views and data pipelines.
• Build and enhance dbt models, including testing, documentation and deployment.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows and data integration solutions.
• Develop Python utilities, automation tools and services for data processing, testing and troubleshooting.
• Work with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub, including PRs, code reviews and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support production systems, investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis and drive improvements.
• Contribute to Generative AI and AI-enabled solutions, leveraging tools like GitHub Copilot.
• Support existing .NET/C# services and contribute to React/TypeScript apps when needed.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts and stakeholders to turn requirements into scalable solutions.
• Support data platforms powering Power BI dashboards, analytics and AI-driven use cases.
• Strong experience with SQL, Snowflake and data engineering.
