Job summary

N-iX is building a global Media Data Foundation to unify paid media and analytics data. As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll shape architecture, implement data pipelines and lead dbt-led transformations at scale for cross-platform reporting.

You will collaborate with architects and product owners, work on data models for marketing dashboards and ensure data security and governance while supporting global teams and agencies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Hands-on experience with dbt and strong Python programming skills.
• Proficiency in Snowflake and strong data modeling expertise.
• Experience with marketing, media or advertising data APIs and hierarchies.
• Knowledge of security and governance in Snowflake (RBAC, secure views, masking).
• Familiarity with multiple cloud platforms (Azure or GCP, Azure preferred).
• Experience with ETL/ELT and data integration tools (Adverity, Fivetran).
• SQL and relational database design for scalable data retrieval.
• Power BI or similar BI tool experience.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Development: build and optimize data pipelines for media data ingestion and delivery.
• Design scalable solutions for multiple data sources and high data volumes.
• Data Modeling & Warehousing: create harmonised data models for cross-platform reporting (Snowflake).
• Lead transformation moves to dbt, including orchestration, testing and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with architects to translate designs into implementation plans.
• Work with global teams and external agencies to align data solutions with business needs.
• Platform Development: enable data readiness for dashboards and analytics.
• Implement monitoring for data freshness, quality, and pipeline performance with alerts.
• Ensure robust security and data privacy compliance across the pipeline.
