Job summary

Q-tech is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and deploy robust ELT pipelines on Snowflake, collaborating with governance and business teams to enable reliable data-driven decisions.

You will develop data products, ensure data quality, and work with Terraform and other IaC tools to strengthen platform security and scalability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Advanced Snowflake expertise (architecture, performance tuning, Snowpark, Streamlit).
• Strong dbt proficiency (models, macros, testing and deployment).
• Enterprise data modeling experience (dimensional modeling, SCD, Data Vault).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• Experience with Airflow, StreamSets and data governance tools.

Responsibilities

At Q-tech, we're hiring a Senior Data Engineer with experience in Snowflake to join a data infrastructure team that lays the secure, scalable and trustworthy foundation for storing, processing and distributing critical data at a leading international financial services firm.

In this role, you'll design pipelines and platform components that support decision-making, reporting and analytics, working closely with data governance teams and business stakeholders.
