Job summary

Trentia in Barcelona is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join an international team responsible for a strategic cloud data platform in the R&D field. The selected candidate will work primarily with AWS, Python, ETL/ELT, SQL and REST APIs, participating in the design, development and evolution of scalable data solutions that support users and business areas globally.

You will design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, build REST APIs for integration, work in AWS environments and optimize

Qualifications

• Solid experience as a Data Engineer with Python.
• Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Hands-on AWS experience and REST API design.
• Proficient in SQL optimization and data modeling.
• Familiar with Git and CI/CD workflows.
• English proficiency to work in an international environment.
• Nice-to-have: Terraform, PostgreSQL, AWS Glue, Power BI, JS/TS, Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Build and maintain REST APIs for system integration.
• Work in AWS environments and optimize data processes.
• Resolve incidents and improve performance of pipelines and SQL queries.
• Participate in full development lifecycle from design to production.
• Collaborate with technical teams and international stakeholders.
• Promote development best practices, automation and DevOps.
