Revolut is seeking a Data Engineer to provide the infrastructure and tools powering insight generation and decision-making for teams across the company. You will design, build, and maintain data platforms, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to deliver scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes data standards, documentation, and user training, with a focus on delivering insight-driven outcomes across the organization.

Formación

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Unix shell scripting.
• Experience implementing agile software development best practices, including TDD, refactoring, CI/CD, and XP.
• Demonstrated experience in ETL design and maintenance, with workflow orchestration using Airflow.
• Expertise in distributed data processing and query engines (e.g., Trino, Spark, Snowflake, BigQuery).

Responsabilidades

• Designing, building, and maintaining efficient and reliable data platforms and automating workflows.
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to build and enhance a seamless data platform.
• Establishing and enforcing data standards, maintaining documentation, and managing a data registry.
• Training users and communicating platform updates and insights through dashboards and bots.
• Planning platform changes and enforcing best practices for coding, testing, deployment, maintenance.
• Leveraging data to guide engineering work and drive insight-driven outcomes.
