Job summary

Amaris Consulting seeks an experienced Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data solutions across multiple domains. You will model data, build pipelines with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse, and develop Power BI dashboards to deliver insights.

You will mentor a small team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure data quality and security. Fluent English is required, and remote work from Italy, Spain or Portugal is available.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data engineering with focus on data modelling.
• 4+ years using Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse.
• Experience in Power BI report development (Paginated/SSRS).

Responsibilities

• Analyze and translate business needs into data requirements.
• Ingest and model data using Fabric and Synapse platforms.
• Develop and optimize data models, schemas, and relationships.
• Design dashboards and reports in Power BI for actionable insights.
• Mentor a small team of developers and manage priorities.
