Job summary

Socialpoint in Madrid seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design and optimize data platforms powering player analytics and game growth. You will build scalable data pipelines, collaborate with analytics engineers and game/marketing teams, delivering robust data tooling in a fast-paced environment.

You should be adept with SQL, Python, and modern data tooling (Airflow, Docker, S3, CI/CD) and comfortable applying AI/LLM techniques to automate insights. Hybrid work and relocation support are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a quantitative field or equivalent.
• Strong SQL skills with large-scale data warehouses.
• Experience building production data pipelines and tooling.
• Proficient in Python for data analytics solutions.
• Experience with LLMs or generative AI workflows a plus.
• Collaborative team player who communicates clearly and delivers.
• Fast learner, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity.
• Attention to detail and focus on high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support analytics, experimentation, and feature engineering across large-scale datasets.
• Design, build, and maintain cross-game data marts for Analysts to use.
• Develop scalable, reusable data tooling and frameworks for multiple game teams.
• Partner with game analytics and marketing to co-design tools used across applications.
• Build end-to-end AI pipelines to support day-to-day Analyst tasks.
• Educate Analysts on coding and software engineering best practices.
