Wizeline, a global AI-native technology solutions provider, is seeking a skilled engineer to maintain and extend ETL pipelines and build REST microservices in a data-driven environment in Barcelona. The role involves designing BigQuery schemas, optimizing queries, and working with AI-powered tooling to monitor infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience with ETL pipelines and REST microservices.
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform services and BigQuery.
• Experience with data lakes and distributed ETL.
• Strong Python and Scala development skills.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend ETL pipelines.
• Build and operate REST microservices (Akka HTTP / Python).
• Design BigQuery schemas and optimize analytical queries.
• Operate and extend AI-powered tooling (PR reviewer, infrastructure monitoring bot).
• Maintain backward compatibility across legacy and modern authentication flows.
