Job summary

IREN Group seeks an experienced DC CSA Superintendent to lead on-site civil and structural works for next-generation data center projects in Spain. You will supervise earthworks, foundations, concrete and steel structures, and the building envelope while coordinating with MEP, architectural, utilities, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure safe, timely delivery that meets drawings and standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in civil/structural site management, construction supervision, or field engineering.
• Degree or technical qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related technical discipline; relevant certifications are well regarded.
• Strong knowledge of civil works, foundations, structures, building envelope, and site logistics; familiarity with codes and sustainability objectives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site civil and structural works including earthworks, foundations, concrete/steel structures, envelope, roads, drainage, and utilities interfaces.
• Supervise contractors, monitor progress, manpower, equipment, and adherence to schedules and safety standards.
• Coordinate interfaces with MEP, architectural, utilities, logistics, commissioning, and operations teams; ensure sequencing and handover readiness.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, shop drawings, permits, ITPs, and quality records for compliance and traceability.
• Monitor quality, safety, and environmental performance; conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments; drive corrective actions.
• Identify site constraints and escalating critical matters to ensure timely decision making; support project controls and reporting.
