Job summary

Pennylane is seeking a Senior Data Analyst in Madrid to transform data into strategic insights across Sales, Operations and Product. You will build robust data models and collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive data-driven decision making.

You will work with SQL, DBT and data visualization tools in a remote-friendly, Europe-wide environment. English is required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of experience as a Data Analyst, ideally in scale-up environments.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
• Experience with SQL, DBT and data visualization tools.
• Strong business acumen and trusted partner to stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and ability to articulate ideas clearly.
• Collaborative with cross-functional teams beyond the data group.

Responsibilities

• Use data to identify opportunities to grow the business and improve processes.
• Serve as sparring partner for Sales & Operations leaders; inform strategy with analysis.
• Steer decision-making in the area through rigorous analyses and cross-domain collaboration.
• Drive self-service analytics and promote a data-driven culture across teams; contribute to data models in the Data Warehouse (dbt).
• Contribute to shaping the Data Engineering roadmap to improve the data platform for colleagues.
