Job summary

Glovo, part of Delivery Hero, seeks a Senior Controller to join the Reporting & Controlling team in Barcelona. You will ensure timely, high-quality financial reporting to Delivery Hero and help strengthen the control environment around the close.

Key duties include supporting the month-end close, IFRS review, and designing controls with risk matrices, collaborating across accounting teams, and driving improvements in reporting tools and disclosures.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in accounting, reporting and consolidation.
• Fluent English is required.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and consolidation.
• Experience with risk and control matrices and process design.
• Hands-on experience with OneStream, Excel, and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Support global month-end close and monthly reporting to Delivery Hero.
• Review IFRS financial statements and group consolidation for inconsistencies.
• Design and implement controls over the financial close using risk and control matrices.
• Collaborate with local and corporate accounting teams to address close gaps.
• Contribute to disclosure, IFRS treatment of reporting standards, and improvements to reporting tools.
• Be the day-to-day contact for accounting and finance colleagues on reporting matters.
