IREN Group is seeking a Contract Manager in Badajoz, Spain to lead structuring, drafting, review, and administration of commercial agreements for data center infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with project development, construction, procurement, finance, operations, and legal teams to ensure contracts are robust and aligned with governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Law, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in commercial contract management, project development, project management, or construction.
• Strong experience negotiating construction, purchase, or large-scale vendor agreements.
• Solid understanding of risk allocation in construction projects, including indemnities, limitation of liability, liquidated damages, performance guarantees, change management, and termination provisions.
• Familiarity with data center, energy, utilities, or HPC infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
• Ability to interpret technical, engineering, and financial inputs and translate them into commercially sound contractual terms.
• Strong commercial acumen, project-oriented mindset, understanding of governance and risk management, excellent negotiation and stakeholder management, and willingness to travel occasionally to U.S. project sites.

Responsabilités

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements supporting development and construction projects.
• Support project development, project management, and construction teams by structuring contractor scope, commercial terms, and bid requirements.
• Identify and manage commercial, financial, regulatory, governance, and performance risks within contracts.
• Lead commercial negotiations with contractors, suppliers, utilities, and strategic partners across multiple jurisdictions.
• Partner with regional project managers, procurement, finance, operations, and the internal legal team as the primary commercial liaison.
• Develop capital contracting strategies including packaging approach and bid structuring.
• Oversee post-award contract management and lifecycle including milestones, change orders, disputes, and renewals.
• Support RFP development, bid evaluations, vendor selection, and continuous improvement of policies and controls.
