ProductLife Group in Spain is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant, Health Economics & Modelling to join our HEOR team. You will lead health economic evaluation projects and support market access strategies, managing client relationships and ensuring high-quality outputs.

The role offers exposure to cost-effectiveness analyses, budget impact models, HTA submissions, and Joint Clinical Assessments (JCA) across Spain and Europe, with opportunities for publications and professional development

Formación

• Master’s degree in Health Economics, Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field.
• 4+ years in HEOR, pharmaceutical consulting, or market access.
• Experience developing economic models for pharma clients.

Responsabilidades

• Lead multiple health economics and modelling projects for pharma/biotech clients.
• Manage day-to-day client interactions and guide project delivery.
• Ensure timelines, budgets and quality targets are met.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Consultant, Health Economics & Modelling to join our growing HEOR team.

This is a highly visible role for a health economics professional who combines strong technical expertise with project leadership capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading health economic evaluation projects, supporting market access strategies and managing client relationships.

The role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of projects including cost-effectiveness analyses, budget impact models, HTA submissions, Joint Clinical Assessments (JCA) and scientific publications.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Project Leadership:

• Lead multiple health economics and modelling projects for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients


• Manage day-to-day client interactions and act as a trusted partner throughout project delivery


• Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards


• Identify project risks and propose mitigation strategies when required

Technical Leadership

• Design, develop, adapt, and validate health economic models, including:
  
  
  
  • Cost-Effectiveness Models (CEMs), cost-Utility Analyses (CUAs)
  
  
  • Budget Impact Models (BIMs)
  
  
  • Cost-consequence
  
  
  • Models supporting HTA submissions and Joint Clinical Assessments (JCA)
  
  
  
  


• Design and conduct deterministic and probabilistic sensitivity analyses


• Review assumptions, methodologies, and model outputs to ensure scientific robustness and consistency


• Lead advisory boards and validation workshops with clinical experts and other stakeholders to elicit, validate, and refine model assumptions, inputs, and methodology


• Support evidence generation strategies aligned with payer and HTA requirements

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

• Master’s degree in Health Economics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics, Mathematics, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline


• +4 years of experience in:
  
  
  
  • Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR)
  
  
  • Pharmaceutical consulting

• Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering economic models for pharmaceutical clients


• Experience managing projects and client relationships


• Professional fluency in English

Technical Skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel modelling (VBA)


• Cost-Effectiveness Analysis


• Cost-Utility Analysis


• Budget Impact Modelling


• Economic model adaptation


• Quantitative analysis and interpretation of results

Desirable Experience

• R programming


• European HTA processes


• Indirect Treatment Comparisons (ITCs) for JCA


• Scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals


• Experience working in international consulting environments
