BASE life science is seeking a Senior Consultant to drive meaningful impact across the life sciences sector in Spain. You will lead cross-functional teams, deliver end-to-end CRM solutions, and work on RfP responses while engaging with senior stakeholders.

You bring 5+ years of consulting experience in the life sciences space, with hands-on Salesforce/Veeva expertise and strong communication skills in English.

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Veeva and other CRM systems; certifications are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; excellent written and verbal English.

• Act as trusted advisor to clients, bringing structure and industry best practices.

As our next Senior Consultant, you will contribute to solving meaningful challenges across the life sciences industry. We offer specialised management consulting services, working with top-tier life sciences companies as well as biotech startups - locally and globally. From strategy development to hands-on implementation, we support our clients were impact matters most.

About the role

We are looking for highly motivated and ambitious Senior Consultant who can contribute across a broad spectrum of projects - including implementation, optimization, and ongoing consulting for the commercial area (SFE,CRM). The role is open to candidates with either a technical background or a business consulting mindset, as long as you bring curiosity, structure, and a collaborative spirit.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, helping clients translate business goals into scalable, system-supported solutions.

Your responsibilities include:

• Lead workstreams or small teams on client projects, ensuring high-quality delivery and stakeholder alignment.
• Conduct process assessments and define future-state operating models across commercial functions.
• Translate business needs into system requirements and support end-to-end implementation of platforms.
• Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and manage documentation (e.g., project plans, RAID logs).
• Support IT and commercial strategy definition, including CRM optimization and system integration.
• Drive change management activities, including training design, stakeholder engagement, and adoption planning.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, bringing structure, insight, and industry best practices.
• Engage in Sales processes by taking part in RfP responses and delivering presentations.

You bring:

• 5+ years of experience ideally in project-based roles within consulting or the life sciences sector implementing solutions for the commercial area.
• Required consulting and hands-on experience in Salesforce, Veeva, and other CRM systems (certifications in Salesforce and Veeva will be a plus). Technical understanding is a plus, especially for projects involving IT collaboration.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English.
• Ability to create compelling presentations and confidently present to diverse audiences.
• Proactive mindset with a “can-do” attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Comfortable working in agile teams and remote environments.
• Project Management and Agile methodologies experience (certifications on Agile, PMP... will be a plus).
• Experience facilitating workshops and driving client expectations into sustainable solutions.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage change at scale.
• It will be a plus if you have these additional capabilities:
• Experience working in global or regulated industries (e.g., pharma, finance).
• Prior consulting experience - especially in top-tier consulting firms - is valued but not required.
• Exposure to enterprise platform rollouts or system integration projects.
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Experience contributing to Salesforce Effectiveness initiatives, including CRM usage optimization, sales process alignment, and support for user adoption strategies.
• Interest in emerging technologies and AI.

This position is offered in Spain.
