Ramboll in Barcelona seeks a Senior Environmental Consultant specializing in Contaminated Sites. You will lead fieldwork, remediation planning, and client-facing reporting, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Expect collaborative, international project exposure and a focus on sustainable solutions. You will bring proven site experience, strong safety practices, and fluency in Spanish and English, plus a degree in a relevant field.

Formación

• Proven experience in the field of Contaminated Sites.
• Proven experience in business Development, strategy and proposal preparation.
• Knowledgeable of applicable local & European legislation.
• Strong health and safety background and behaviour-based safety.
• Familiar with AutoCAD/GIS and other standard software.
• Excellent written and communications skills.

• Subcontractor overview.
• Reporting and stakeholder management, keeping close ties to clients and understanding of their needs.
• Business Development, business strategy definition and proposal preparation.
• Specific business development in water stewardship, cost modelling of environmental liabilities, phase IIs, remediations, groundwater modelling, and circular economy projects.
• Project management, report writing and, if required, field work.
• Coaching junior staff.

As our new Senior Consultant, you will engage in an exciting array of projects with fieldwork in contaminated sites, overview of remediations, reporting and subcontractor management. Your key responsibilities will be:

About you

• Proven experience in the field of Contaminated Sites
• Proven experience in business Development, strategy and proposal preparation
• Fluent proficiency of Spanish, as well as English.
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, engineering, geology, chemistry, biology or similar; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Knowledgeable of applicable local & European legislation.
• Strong health and safety background and behaviour-based safety.
• Familiar with AutoCAD/GIS and other standard software.
• Excellent written and communications skills.
