Descripción del empleo

We are looking for a Senior Compliance Manager for a next-generation data centre business powering the future of high- performance computing, AI workloads and digital assets, all using 100% renewable energy. The responsibilities will be the following:

Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance
- Be accountable for the regulatory compliance framework in Spain andacross Europe, structured around three pillars: inform, comply and assure.
- Provide strategic oversight over obligations management, uplift compliance capability and influence across the business and continuously evolve the
framework.
- Inform – maintain the register of regulatory obligations applying to the company across its operating jurisdictions; monitor regulatory change; ensure obligation owners are aware of the obligations and changes that may impact their business units or activities.
- Comply – partner with business leaders to ensure controls are designed, implemented and operated effectively to meet compliance obligations across the group; identify instances of non-compliance and drive remediation; own incident and breach management end-to-end, including implementation, reporting, root cause analysis and remediation tracking.
- Assure – lead risk-based assurance activities, including periodic internal and external reviews, to assess the effectiveness of controls; identify control design gaps and drive them to closure; coordinate periodic compliance confirmations by the Executive Leadership Team; provide assurance to the Executive and Board that regulatory obligations are being met across the group.
- While the portfolio covers all applicable regulatory requirements across the company the day-to-day focus of the role is employment law, immigration, payroll compliance and privacy, working in close partnership with the People and Culture team.
- In addition, you will provide support to the team in operationalising our ongoing compliance obligations across financial crime, ethics and conduct
and the monitoring and tracking of obligations arising under material contractual agreements, helping ensure ongoing compliance and visibility of key commitments.
Governance, stakeholder partnership and reporting
- Prepare and deliver regular reporting to the Board’s Audit and Risk Committee on our compliance obligations.
- Partner with internal stakeholders across the business (People and Culture, Legal, Commercial, Finance, Operations, Construction and the Executive team) and engage external consultants and specialist advisors where needed to bring the right expertise across jurisdictions.
- Implement and embed the governance and accountability structures that underpin both frameworks, ensuring they operate effectively at multi- jurisdictional scale.
- Stand up the technology and AI tooling that make risk and compliance management scalable.

Requirements:

- 8-10+ years’ experience in risk, compliance, governance, audit, legal or commercial roles, with substantive ownership of both large and complex contractual environments and multi-jurisdiction regulatory compliance.

- Deep working knowledge of regulatory frameworks across Spain and Europe, with strong expertise in local employment law, immigration, payroll compliance and privacy.
- Demonstrated ability to build frameworks, registers, governance models and processes from the ground up across risk management, compliance and business continuity.
- Experience within large, complex environments such as data centres, banking, infrastructure, energy, or technology.
