Job summary

Lufthansa Technik is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join a team building the cloud platforms that power AVIATAR’s digital services and the Digital TechOps ecosystem.

You will manage cloud infrastructure with automated IaC and CI/CD pipelines, foster security and best practices, and apply DevOps/SRE principles. Strong English and a degree in CS are required, with 2+ years in cloud infra and cloud provider experience (GCP/AWS/Azure). Standby flying may be offered for work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in computer science or a related subject.
• Strong English language skills (written and spoken).
• At least two years of experience in cloud infrastructure management.
• At least two years of experience with one or more of the major cloud providers (GCP/Azure/AWS).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (ideally Terraform) and setting up CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and monitoring.
• Familiarity with security, networking and cloud best practices.
• Confident application of DevOps/SRE principles.
• Knowledge of container orchestration, databases, Git.
• Experience with event-driven and serverless architecture patterns beneficial.

• Infrastructure changes are rolled out multiple times a day through fully automated IaC and CI/CD pipelines


• We take responsibility for the full DevOps cycle, but spend most of our time working on new features and architecture optimisations, rather than responding to ops issues.


• We always stay up to date with the newest technology innovations to improve our stack
