dLocal is looking for a Senior Network & Edge Security Engineer to design, operate, and evolve our global cloud and hybrid network perimeter. You will own secure connectivity, traffic protection, WAF and firewall controls, and the automation that makes those services reliable at scale.

You will work with Platform, Information Security, Compliance, and Product teams to keep critical services secure, available, low‑latency, and ready for international growth.

Formación

• Cloud networking design and troubleshooting in production with high availability and security.
• TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, DNS, NAT, load balancing, proxies, VPN/IPsec, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with AWS networking services including VPC, Route53, subnets, subnets, load balancers, and firewall services.
• Experience managing WAFs and edge-security controls in multi-provider environments.
• FortiGate firewall management including VPNs, policies, and logs.
• Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) integrated into CI/CD.
• Monitoring/observability platforms (ELK, New Relic, etc.) and building dashboards for latency and security insights.
• Linux administration and CLI troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of HTTP/TCP proxies and reverse proxies (Nginx, HAProxy, Squid).
• Cloud security best practices, network segmentation, least privilege, change management.
• Strong written and spoken English and cross-team collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and operate secure, scalable network solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Own and improve edge-security stack (WAFs, firewalls, proxies, load balancers).
• Define and tune WAF rules, policies, and traffic flows; reduce noise while preserving protection.
• Design and operate AWS networking services (VPCs, subnets, Route 53, etc.).
• Coordinate third‑party connectivity (VPNs, interconnections).
• Manage FortiGate-based services, VPNs, policies, and logs.
• Build end-to-end HTTP/HTTPS observability with logs, dashboards, and alerts.
• Drive network infrastructure as code using Terraform; integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate onboarding/decommissioning, policy lifecycles, and partner connectivity.
• Lead incident response for network, WAF, and edge-security events; coordinate DR procedures.
• Collaborate with InfoSec and Compliance for PCI/SOX and audit readiness.
• Maintain clear documentation of architectures and runbooks.
